Technocolr, the Harlequin Lodge by Anita Fontaine is a fantastical new construction in Second Life made possible by Dlux Media arts. Like a disorientating roadside attraction, Technocolr emulates a whimsical architectural vision, filled with optical treats and twisted installations. Just like the teacup ride at Disneyland or Snowhite's house off Route 66, Technocolr pays homage to experimental and fairytalesque architecture, and the ideologies behind creating these miniature fantasy worlds. Come, step right up, through the harlequin wallpaper and over the oscillating rainbows into a new disturbing and beautiful reality.
