Anita Fontaine is a speculative future artist, creative director and director who blurs the virtual and physical with a flexible hyper real tactility. Merging technical innovation with design, film, gaming and fashion with a punk sensibility, her work has helped redefine the aesthetics of the pop culture landscape.

Last year she was voted one of Adweek’s most fascinating creatives and was one of 50 Creative Leaders to watch in 2018’s Creative Review. She is an active international speaker and has spoken at Semi Permanent, SXSW, OFFF, Nicer Tuesdays and FrameLab and been featured on Nowness, Dazed Digital and It's Nice That.

Her visionary perspective has materialised future labs, VR experiences and immersive installations, games and films, and led to collaborations with Google, Louis Vuitton and The Tate Modern.

She was the co-founder of digital agency Champagne Valentine using graphic experiments to play with visual logic, beauty, internet and trash subculture as a basis for creating sensory art experiences for brands and museums.

Most recently she co-founded The Department of New Realities - a future forward creative unit in collaboration within Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam.

She continues to alternate her technical approach like a chameleon for the new age. Concerned with expanding eco-anxiety she’s now focusing her inventiveness on untangling the collective hive mind. Through the synergises of creativity and innovation her hope is to positively influence the future’s landscape, benefiting the environment and reducing the suffering for all.

Her most recent venture We Have Seen The Future tackles themes of Enlightenment and Wellness inside the Metaverse.
